Piss In The Wind is the fourth studio album by the Japanese singer Joji, his first since SMITHEREENS, which dropped in November 2022. The album’s first single, “PIXELATED KISSES,” was released on October 14, 2025, after it was teased on his official website the day before its release. On November 3, 2025, via Joji’s Instagram story, he has announced the release of the album’s second single along with a pre-save link for “If It Only Gets Better.” Upon the song’s release the next day, the album’s title, cover, and its release date were also revealed. Throughout the rollout of the album, Joji replaced himself in music videos, photo shoots and promotional content with a “doppelgänger” which fans gave the nicknames “Joe G” and “Jijo.” In actuality, the role was played by Robert Birdsall. Birdsall also replaced him in the Genius Verified episode for “PIXELATED KISSES.” The album’s third single, “Past Won’t Leave My Bed,” was released on November 7, alongside a music video. On November 9, French music retailer FNAC revealed twenty of the album’s track titles in the description of their listing for Piss In The Wind. The tracklist would be officially revealed a month later, on December 9. The album’s fourth single, “LOVE YOU LESS” was released on January 2, 2026, after being announced three days earlier on Joji’s Instagram stories. On January 23, 2026, Joji released his fifth and final single for the album, “LAST OF A DYING BREED“.
