Shawn is the fifth studio album (and second self-titled album since “Shawn Mendes” in 2018) by Canadian singer Shawn Mendes, released on November 15, 2024, through Island Records. The album has 12 tracks and a duration of 30 minutes The original release date was scheduled for October 18, but was delayed for unknown reasons. The album was preceded by the release of four singles. «Why Why Why» and «Isn’t That Enough» as double singles on August 8, 2024, «Nobody Knows» on September 12, 2024, and «Heart of Gold» on November 1, 2024. Shawn promoted the album by releasing a film “FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY ONLY, A LIVE CONCERT FILM” for one night in select theaters, where he sang the songs from the album in a live show, being the first time he has presented his new project to an audience in a live version.
